Every roller, balm and wellness product is handmade in Melbourne in small batches using thoughtfully chosen, 100% natural ingredients. Our children's rollers combine therapeutic-grade essential oils, carefully diluted to paediatric ratios in a single carrier oil. Our balms are crafted using our own slow infusion processes with whole botanicals, rather than relying on highly processed ingredients or unnecessarily long ingredient lists.

There are no synthetic fragrances, no parabens, no PEGs, no petroleum, no fillers and no ingredients that don't need to be there. Just simple, effective formulations made the way natural remedies should be.

A Thousand Roses makes natural wellness products for babies, toddlers and mothers/women. The range includes therapeutic-grade essential oil rollers for teething, sleep, congestion, calming and tummy support; balms including the Calm Sleep Balm and Everything Balm; bath teas for skin and the nervous system; Baltic amber teething jewellery; and a small motherhood range covering postpartum face, body and bump care(skin care) and various wellbeing support products.

Most of the range is formulated for of three months upward, with each product clearly labelled with its age suitability. Essential oil rollers are diluted to safe paediatric ratios in coconut carrier oil and are applied to the soles of the feet or along the jawline, not ingested or used near the face. We recommend a 24-hour patch test before first use and a check with your maternal health nurse or GP if your baby has known sensitivities.

Every product is hand-blended, bottled and labelled in Airport West - Melbourne, Australia. Founder Evelyn Spinazzola formulated the original Teething Roller in her own kitchen in 2022, and we have stayed small-batch ever since. Essential oils are sourced from established global producers and tested for therapeutic-grade purity before they enter our formulas.

No. A Thousand Roses does not test on animals at any point in our supply chain, and we do not work with ingredient suppliers who do. Our formulations are tested on our own families and on the volunteer panel of mothers in our Village community before any product is released.

Therapeutic-grade refers to essential oils that are pure, single-species, and free from synthetic fillers, dilutants or fragrance compounds. We source from established producers who can provide GC-MS testing certificates confirming chemical composition. This matters because a roller is only as effective as the oils inside it, and a fragrance-grade oil will not contain the active compounds (such as Beta-Caryophyllene in Copaiba) that make a therapeutic blend work.
